My name is Kwame Koranteng Opoku. I am a Software Engineer from Accra, Ghana, with a passion for creating impactful digital solutions. With over 4 years of professional experience, I've worked extensively with both frontend and backend technologies to deliver robust applications.

Currently, I'm working as a Product Delivery Specialist at Zeepay Ghana, where I develop financial technology solutions. My expertise is finding solutions to problems.

Accra, Ghana

  • ▹Led development of the Instntmny Transfer application for the UK market, delivering scalable remittance payment solutions and processing over $15M in transaction volume since launch
  • ▹Led development of the Instntmny Transfer application for the US market, building scalable remittance payment solutions and laying the foundation for future transaction growth
  • ▹Achieved over $1M in user purchases by integrating multiple bill payment, airtime, and data bundle providers across Africa, automating provider switching based on business decisions and trends to enhance system stability on the Zeepay ecosystem.
  • ▹Collaborated with the engineering team to rebuild the backend infrastructure from Node.js to Python, consolidating the Instant Money Transfer Application (UK), Instant Money Transfer Application USA, and Instant Money Transfer Agent Portal into a unified backend system. This reduced technical overhead by 35%, improved maintainability, and positioned Zeepay for scalable expansion beyond the UK and USA.
